The name ‘lits’ simply means ‘the lisbon trails’ and it refers directly back to the very origin of the pieces, as well as being part of the “trail” of street art LiT follows and promotes. The “lits” are part of a joint venture between Lisbon-based urban photographer and me to convey and re-evaluate street art through the prism of our own experiences during the “creation” period back in April 2012. Among the goals of the LiT project is not only to document street art but also to interpret and re-interpret it in the process.
